Having had a deep interest and fascination with holistic medicine and after many years in marketing Yvonne made a life changing decision, and began a four year intensive degree course in Oriental Medicine at the International College of Oriental Medicine, East Grinstead.
After 4 years of studying Acupuncture, Western Medicine and Massage therapy, she qualified as a licensed member of the British Acupuncture Council and soon after, she established Unity Acupuncture Practice.
Yvonne has a loyal, extensive client base, dealing with a wide range of physiological and emotional complaints which all benefit from Acupuncture treatments.
Over the past four years her success in helping couples deal with infertility has resulted in extensive growth in the fertility side of the business. As acupuncture is proven to have very positive results combined with IVF, good relations have been developed with consultants at The Esperance, Agora and Crawley Fertility Units to ensure those undergoing IVF have the best support possible.
Yvonne says..... "In the last 18 months, 70% of clients treated have resulted in a pregnancy. It is a very stressful and emotional journey for all my clients, but when we get a positive result the expression on their faces is priceless. Another scan or baby photo for the clinic wall is the biggest thank you anyone could possibly ask for."
Yvonne's specialist training allows her to work with all areas of female and male infertility. She helps clients who are currently undergoing assisted reproduction therapies - IUI, IVF, ICSI, as well as those who aim to conceive naturally. From this deep understanding and experience Yvonne combines emotional support, along with energy balancing acupuncture treatments, not only assisting with the initial conception, but also continuing to maintain a healthy balance during pregnancy and birth. The lead up to a mother giving birth is often very worrying, so special calming treatments are used to induce Labour.
